1 Million InvestHers
Women Entrepreneurs should be equal players in the economy. Yet...
- Over the past 30 years, women entrepreneurs only received 2% of Venture Capital
- The World Economic Forum says it will take 257 years for women to reach economic equality
- Research shows that female-founded businesses give a higher return on investment with less money invested.
- Investing in women entrepreneurs could add $5 Trillion to the Global Economy, and 6% to Global GDP!
Women Entrepreneurs (WE) Can't Wait.
To help speed things up, Global Invest Her has launched the 1 Million InvestHers Campaign with this objective:
About the 1 Million InvestHers Movement
In early March 2020, just before Covid-19 lockdown, Anne Ravanona, Founder & CEO of Global Invest Her, had the privilege of being invited to a private lunch with President Macron and several other Gender Equality dignitaries, where she presented her plans for the #1MillionInvestHers campaign as well as her suggestions on how to improve access to capital for women entrepreneurs.
We commit to these actions as part of our commitments to the Generation Equality Forum 2021, in support of SDGs 5 and 8.
